Software built to be handed over
PathOr builds web and mobile applications from first conversation to production deployment. The measure of the work is not whether it demos well but whether your own team can pick it up, understand it and change it after we have gone.
Modern stack
React, Next.js, TypeScript and the tooling around them.
Web and mobile
Progressive web apps, native and cross-platform mobile.
Scalable architecture
Designed for the load you will have, not just today’s.
Enterprise systems
Custom ERP and CRM work, integrations, high availability.
What we build
Modern web applications — single-page apps, progressive web apps and server-rendered sites built on React and Next.js, with real-time features where the product calls for them.
Mobile applications, native and cross-platform, for iOS and Android, usually with an intelligent backend rather than a thin wrapper around a website.
Enterprise systems: custom ERP and CRM builds, integrations between things that were never designed to talk to each other, and the high-availability infrastructure underneath them.
How we work
Scope gets cut into things that can actually ship. A slice in production tells you more than a specification does, and it means you are never more than a few weeks from something real.
Code is written to be read. Consistent conventions, comments where the reasoning is not obvious from the code, and no clever indirection that only makes sense to the person who wrote it. You are paying for an asset your team has to live with.
Working with a distributed team
PathOr is based in Gaya, Bihar and works with clients worldwide, remote-first. In practice that means written communication is the default, decisions are recorded rather than remembered, and progress is visible without a status meeting.
The team has been operating this way since 2019 across more than sixty delivered projects, including ongoing enterprise engagements.
Common questions
What technologies does PathOr build with?
+
Primarily React, Next.js and TypeScript on the front end, with Node.js and cloud-native services behind them. Mobile work covers both native iOS and Android and cross-platform frameworks, chosen based on what the product actually needs.
Does PathOr work with clients outside India?
+
Yes. PathOr is based in Gaya, Bihar and works with clients worldwide on a remote-first basis, with written communication and recorded decisions as the default working mode.
Can PathOr take over an existing codebase?
+
Yes. Alongside new builds, the team takes on existing systems that need extending, modernising or stabilising. The first step is an honest read of what is there before committing to an approach.
